Overview:

The magic of long-distance hiking: From one place to the next, in the rhythm of the landscape and far away from the hectic pace of everyday life! Long-distance hiking is the original form of travel and enchants more and more people every year. However, those who have never done this before will certainly ask themselves the question: “Can I also do it? As hiking specialists we answer this question with a convinced ” Yes, you can!” also on the Nockberge-Trail. We have selected the most suitable stages for you and tied them into practical beginner’s packages. The Nockberge-Trail with its moderate but incredibly promising route guidance on the designated sections is ideally suited for the entry into the great adventure of alpine long-distance hiking. Although the trails mostly run in a mountainous area above the tree line, they are gentle and do not present any significant technical difficulties (no “black” sections).

The stage distances require some endurance, but without overexerting oneself to reach the respective day’s destination. In addition, you can be sure that the competent Trail Angels team in the official Booking Center will accompany you on your independent hiking trip with their award-winning service – they will be there to help you in case of emergency via the reassuring Trail Hotline from 8 AM to 8 PM every day. As much freedom as possible and as much care as necessary: with this security in mind, you can take the last step into the world of independent long-distance hiking. You will not regret it!
